Things to Do in Las Vegas This Weekend (Nightlife)

You’re in Las Vegas this weekend and you want a night that’s actually worth telling people about. Not the same megaclub everyone posts from. Something with real music, a real crowd, and a real reason to stay out.
Here’s your weekend nightlife guide — where to go, when to go, and how to do it right.

The Weekend Nightlife Landscape

Las Vegas splits into two nightlife worlds, and knowing the difference is the whole game.

If you want the full comparison, we made the case in 5 reasons Bauhaus is the best alternative to Strip nightclubs.

This Weekend's Move: Downtown Las Vegas

The strongest nightlife this weekend — and most weekends — is in the Fremont East district downtown. Independent venues, later hours, and the city’s underground music scene, all anchored by Bauhaus LV at Bauhaus LV, 115 N 7th St, Las Vegas, NV 89101.

What’s on this weekend at Bauhaus:

Check the current lineup and reserve on the Bauhaus events page. Announcements go up 3–6 weeks ahead, and strong nights sell out.

Friday Night

Friday downtown builds through the evening to a genuine peak around 3am. The crowd is energised — people started their weekend with the night in mind rather than stumbling in as an afterthought.

Start with dinner in the 18b Arts District, drinks on Fremont Street, then walk east to Bauhaus before the 12:30am free-entry cutoff. Full route in our things to do in downtown Las Vegas at night guide.

Saturday Night

Saturday is the biggest night of the week downtown, usually with the strongest booking of the weekend. It’s also the most competitive for entry — RSVP early, and if you’re in a group, consider a VIP table.

Group coming? VIP tables with bottle service and priority entry are available — see the group night out packages.

Our own monthly underground techno event guide rounds up what’s coming across the month. But for this weekend, the answer is simple — reserve your spot at Bauhaus here.
